250th Birthday Ball Date & Venue Change
Through no fault of our own, and in our best interests, we are changing the date and venue of the 250th Marine Corps Birthday Ball. It will now be at the Quality Inn in Cañon City on November 15, 2025. The food, ceremonies, etc will remain the same.

The Honor Guard/Ceremonial Detail service provided by the Royal Gorge Marine Corps League Detachment is a solemn tribute to honor the service and sacrifice of deceased veterans. This service is typically requested by the family of the deceased veteran or through funeral homes coordinating the veteran's funeral services.
The Honor Guard/Ceremonial Detail can include several elements, such as: Flag Folding and Presentation, Playing of Taps, Rifle Salute. Families or funeral directors wishing to request the Honor Guard/Ceremonial Detail service for a veteran's funeral should contact the Royal Gorge Marine Corps League Detachment directly.
