Welcome to the website of the Royal Gorge Detachment, Marine Corps League, Department of Colorado

Commandant's Message:

Hello and Welcome to our site.

I would like to thank you for stopping by and visiting the Royal Gorge Detachment's web page.  I would also like to urge all veteran and former Marines to come and see what our outstanding organization is all about.  The Marine Corps League is open to all Marines, Retiring Marines and Marine Corps Reservists (active or non active). We also welcome any Navy Corpsmen that served with the Fleet Marine Force.  The Department of Colorado has 13 Detachments throughout this great state and I invite you to visit the closest one to you.  Any of the Detachments within the Department of Colorado will welcome you and if needed will offer any assistance they can.  I would like you to check the Detachment Locater to find the one nearest you.

The Marine Corps League also has associate memberships available for those that are otherwise ineligible for a regular membership.  They stand beside the regular membership in activities and programs that the Marine Corps League is involved in.

There are also Auxiliary Units. With in the Department of Colorado. They work together with the Detachments in the area. The Auxiliary Unit does several activities and programs assisting Marines, their families and more.  Their membership is made up of  Wives, Widows,  Mothers, Grandmothers, Sisters, Daughters, Granddaughters, Stepmothers, Stepdaughters, and Daughters-In-Law of Marines and veteran Marines and Wives of FMF Navy Corpsmen. We would like to welcome you to join us.  If I could be of any assistance to you please let me know.

Semper Fidelis
